Hamburg By Richard Erasmus The tourist attractions in Hamburg are many. Primarily Hamburg is a large comercial city and a harbour. There are tramways.buses and a subway. You can see more of the city if you take all three to get to the harbour.In the harbour there are steamers ,freighters and excursion boats from all over the world.It is one of Europe's most important harbours,the gateway to many lands for exports and imports.The Germans,Poles and Russians left from there to go to America and the Italians as well The Alster basin is not far from there ,where the people are on the water with sailing,motor and rowing boats. You can sit on the beautiful promenade and observe the life on the water and land Hagenbecks animal park lies outside the city.Wild animals such as lions,elephants and bears etc seem to live in the park.Tigers walk around freely with only a moat seperating them from people. There are monkeys and seals as well ,they should entertain you a bit before you go off to see the Lions gate,there is a forest where one of the german princes used to hunt. Well there is much more than these attractions. Maybe you should go there on your next holiday, It's worth the trip!!!
